Ashland Jam Youth Basketball Tournament
Ashland Optimist is offering a new youth basketball tournament this year for 5th and 6th grade boys and girls teams. This will be a one-day tournament with teams playing 2-3 games each.
Tournament date: Saturday, January 3, 2026
Team fee: $100 payable to Ashland Optimist
Location: Southern Boone Middle School and High School Gyms
Game length: 8-minute quarters with a running clock
Registration deadline: December 15, 2025 (or when full)
We will accept the first 6 teams to register in each division. Once a division fills up, we will remove it from the registration form. Tournament play will have 6 teams divided into two pools. Each pool will play a round robin. The winner of each pool will play in a championship game to determine the division winner for the tournament.
Full tournament rules coming soon! Games will be refereed by MSHSAA officials.
Concessions will be offered in both gyms. Admission will be charged to spectators (separate pricing for students, children under 5 are free, players and coaches are free).
